Watering
Of the elements that make up a turf grass plant, water is the most important element. A turf grass plant is made of almost 90% water. A dry lawn will show stress. Water once a week if “Mother Nature” does not provide at least an inch of moisture in this period. Sprinkler systems should run two (2) ten minute cycles once a week for turf grass.
Mowing
Continue to mow your lawn at least every two weeks until Thanksgiving. Raise your mower level during the fall and winter.
